Spring is on its way here at Demarest (finally!), and while we've enjoyed staying cozy in our basement, we're ready for some sun. Here's a glimpse into what happened in our lovely dorm last month and a chance to see what's to come!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- EVENT RECAP:[feb 15] Another month, another Coffeehouse in our basement! Appropriately themed "What is Love? (Baby Don't Hurt Me)," we had a range of acts, including saxophone man, poetry readings, sing-a-longs, and some performance art from our friend, The Convincing Actor. The Daily Targum even captured some radical footage of the event -- check it outHERE!

[feb 22] We must give a huge shoutout to our Visual Arts Section Leader, Kierin Rogers, and her section rep, Kiara Lopez, for organizing such a brilliant Art Gala! This event drew so many people to our basement for a night of reminiscing, ooohing & aaahing, appreciating, and dancing to the bands Good Luck Brother, Schmave & Old Joy. Thank you so much to all of those who put their artwork on display; you're all so talented, and we love you.
